What´s Included

From our own personal experiences of travelling on cycling holidays, the costs can mount up. Food and drink bills in particular can come as a bit of shock, and sometimes the quality of food can be quite poor, especially in hotels. So, we have decided to make our holidays all-inclusive, so that you can put your wallet away, and just enjoy everything that Galicia has to offer. So, what do we really mean by all-inclusive? Well, here is a list of what is included.

You will stay at the Casa Rectoral in Tui. All costs are based on two people sharing a twin en-suite room. If you prefer a single room please contact us as this may incur an extra payment.

Breakfast will be at the Casa. Before your trip, you can let us know what you usually have for breakfast, and if it exists in Galicia, it will be in the kitchen. I will arrive every morning with fresh bread and croissants, so you will be fuelled up for the day ahead.

Depending on how the day progresses we will have a coffee stop and a light lunch en route. Lunch will be light usually consist of a sandwich or some tapas, as climbing on a very full stomach is not something I can recommend.

Every evening we will dine in a different local restaurant, and I will try to introduce you to the different gastronomy that Galicia has to offer, and if time permits a pre-dinner drink in one of the numerous bars. I will also make sure that the fridge in the Casa has a few treats to tide you over, and more than enough “cyclotourist recovery drink” as you will need before lights out. ALL INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

We are aware that many cyclists prefer their own brand of energy bars and gels during their rides. These will be provided for you and we use Nutri Sport products.  All the water and energy drink mix that you need during the day´s ride is included too.

There will be a support vehicle with the group all day, and I will ride every day with the group.

If we decide that the route will start away from our base, we will provide all transport to and from our desired start and finish point. We will carry spare wheels, and innertubes in case of punctures, and have a tool box available for on-road repairs.

All our trips will begin and end at Porto Airport. We will provide transport for you and your bike, all included in the price. If you prefer, we can provide a rental bike or arrange for your own bike to be sent. For more information on these extra services click here. We will also provide transport every evening to our selected restaurant.

On our week-long trips, I know that dirty kit can be a problem. So, after day three´s ride, you can bag up your used kit. It will be washed and ready for you for the next morning. Again all included at no extra cost.

Also, when we return on Day 3 from our exertions, I will have a massage therapist ready at the Casa to put some life into those weary legs for you. Our treat.

Each morning I will make sure that our mechanic looks at your bike to ensure it is ready to go into battle. Any minor reparations needed are included in price.

Flights to and from Porto airport

Insurance. Please click here on our terms and conditions to see what insurance cover you will need for our holidays.

Any major bike repairs or components that are required during the trip. However, with my close relationship to Jorge at the local bike shop EL BOX DE JORGE, which I used to own, I can obtain prices for components and labour which are a lot lower than normal.

If after evening dinner you want to carry on deep into the night, when most of the group prefers to head home, then that will be at your own cost. I can organise taxis etc.
